Vision

Kami, ang komunidad ng mga kabataan ng Parokya ng San Nicolas de Tolentino na naglilingkod, mababang loob at nananalig ay naglalayong mapalalim ang buhay espiritual at moral ng kabataan tungo sa maka-kristiyanong pamumuhay.

Mission

Sa patnubay ni San Nicholas de Tolentino na aming patron, kami ay nagtatalaga ng aming sarili sa isang matatag na komunidad at buong pusong naglilingkod sa pamamagitan ng paglalaan ng oras, pagbabahagi ng talento at kakayahan sa patuloy na paghubog ng mga kabataan at paglulunsad ng mga programang magpapalawig sa kamalayan sa pananampalataya at sa kabuuang pag-unlad ng pagkatao na kalugud-lugod sa kalooban ng Diyos.

Goal (2008-2010)

Kami ang San Nicolas de Tolentino Parish Youth Council ay naglalayong makahubog ng mga kabataan na naglilingkod ng buong puso at nananampalataya sa Diyos.

Objectives

1. Nakapaghikayat ng 50% ng kabuuang bilang ng mga kabataang naglilingkod.

2. Naunawaan ang kahalagahan ng buhay paglilingkod, kabutihang asal, at natutugunan ang mga katanungan hinggil sa pananampalataya.

3. Naipadama ang pagmamahal sa bawat isa sa pamamagitan ng masiglang pagbabahagi sa sariling karanasan, kakayahan at kaalaman.

Street Dancing 2009: Milestone for the Coronation of Divina Pastora

April 26 every year marked the local history of the city of Gapan, as the National Shrine of La Virgen Divina Pastora celebrated its coronation. The awaited event not just for Gapanenses but also for all the parishoners of the Diocese of Cabanatuan to witnessed one of the most divine story ever told.
Street dancing was being performed by devotees' to commemorate the aformentioned coronation of the Virgin Mary.


SNT-PYC Outing!

Last April 23, 2009, the Parish of St. Nicholas of Tolentine Cathedral treated the parish staffers, altar servers and the PARISH YOUTH COUNCIL at the Almon Waterpark to savor the excitement of Summer 2009.

though it rains before lunch was served, the party continues as the gang doesn't mind the uproaring clash of mother earth. (Nosebleed ba JR? hahaha) Joke Joke lang yan.

Semana Santa: Senakulo

Last April 10, 2009 as we observed the solemnity of the Lenten Season. the Parish Youth council of the the st. Nicholas of Tolentine Cathedral showcased their talents as they portratyed and reenact the last moment of Jesus Christ here on Earth thru "Senakulo Play" or the Passion Play. The event was graced by no other than the Bishop of the Diocese of Cabanatuan and some clergy.

Semana Santa: Visita Iglesia

In line with the observance of the lenten season, last April 9, 2009 the Parish Youth Council of St. Nicholas of Tolentine hold its Visita Iglesia - a catholic tradition of visiting churches during lent. The group visited the following parishes and catholic centers:
  • St. Joseph the Husband of Mary Parish
  • Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish
  • Maria Assumpta Seminary
  • Carmelites Monastery
  • St. Rose of Lima Parish
  • Three Kings Parish
  • St. Jude Chapel - San Leonardo
  • St. Nicholas of Tolentine Cathedral

Youth attends Parable…

Last March 31, 2009 the Youth Coordinators and Asst. Youth Coordinators of Barangay Youth Councils under the parochial jurisdiction of the St. Nicholas of Tolentine Cathedral attend the Parable of the Pencil, a formation program which aims to provide youth the knowledge, the skills and even the power to understand oneself and improve the inter-personal sensibility of the youth. The said event was facilitated by Kuya Matt, from the Mother of Perpetual Help Parish. “there’s something good in you…keep the fire burning!”
